What is a website template?
Much like a document template, a website template is a pre-designed set of webpages that a user can add (or “plug in”) content to before publishing a page.
Website templates ensure formatting consistency throughout a website and can make updating and maintaining a website easier.
No more Franken-websites pieced together with separate components/plugins for forms, e-commerce, calendars, or website statistics.
Say goodbye to extra plugins, modules, and components and constant updates and back ups.
With Red Ink Geek CMS, you get a powerful yet user-friendly platform to showcase your site. You focus on the content and let Red Ink Geek take care of the rest.
What is a CMS?
A content management system (CMS) is a software or Web-based application (or system) used to manage and organize the content of a website.
Usually, a CMS has two elements: the content management application (CMA) and the content delivery application (CDA).
The CMA is the editing element that allows a user to create and edit content without a degree in Web design.
The CDA compiles the information to publish the website.
CMSs often make creating, editing, and publishing a website a DIY possibility for even website novices. Some popular CMS examples are WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Wix.
